My Cloud Buddy

By JP Perumba de Puthenveetil

One day when you have nothing to do

Once you’ve picked all your lemons

And waxed all your trench coats

You should look at the sky

And stare at a cloud

One particular cloud

It’s overtly round

What else about this cloud could I describe?

Wait!

Its pink! Its pink! I forgot that it's pink!

Or is it blue?

Or maybe maroon?

Well none the less

It's a color other than white

So it won’t be hard to miss

Wait is it white?

It might be white

Come to think of it, it's not even round

Especially not in the overt sense

It’s more puffy

Or fluffy?

It looks like a cloud

You know clouds?

It looks like a cloud

Well anyways

Once you’ve done your daily pickling

And all the trees lay at 46 degrees

Take a look at this cloud I just described

And you might see the sky elf, Boingus Dago

While he gardens his peaches

And sings about bagels
